America is a land of immigrants. Even Budweiser, the most American of American things, was founded by a guy who came from Germany.

A lot of people had forgotten this. So we used the biggest stage of all to tell a story about an immigrant chasing the American dream all the way to St. Louis.

The ad ran during the 3rd quarter of the Super Bowl. And coming on the heels of some, um, political turmoil, got a ton of press, which was nice. And it made a lot of very not nice people big mad, which was even better.

But the best part? The film inspired many other people to share their own immigrant stories.
